Week#1 No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Cookies

Week#1

I was really anxious to kick all this off but at the same time, I didn't want to pick something too out of my leauge. No Bake you say? I can do that!! And it turns out I did!! They turned out JUST like they were supposed to (WARNING: This will not happen every time) and they were SUCH a hit! I made sure that we had plenty of compancy over so I could get as much feed back as I could. Most of the feedback sounded like something you would hear on a different planet since all their faces were STUFFED with these awesome cookies! I made about 3 dozen and it took exactly 42 min for them to disappear. Success? I think so.

In fact! They disappeared SO fast that I forgot to get a picture of them to post on the blog! I managed to snap a shot of the last cookie before anyone grabbed it!

Here is the recipe: (Don't laugh... I said I had to start out easy)

Introducing... BAKE or BREAK

So I came up with a new goal and here it is. I'm gonna learn to cook. Sound easy? Not for me. Anyone that knows me knows that I do NOT know how to cook unless I have someone next to me telling me what to do every step of the way. But this ends today. (techinically it ended last Sunday when I started)

My GOAL: Once a week, cook something on my list of "Top 100 Things I Want to Learn to Cook" and blog about here it, complete with recipes, pictures, mishaps (there's bound to be a few) and so on.

I have never made such a commitment in my life as this will actually take longer than 2 years. (I haven't even been able to commit to a relationship for 2 years) But I my heart is set on completing this and becoming the cook I want to be. Who's with me?
